Towing a trailer with passengers, like that "Free Ride" shuttle, would be illegal today. Perhaps it was OK back in 1955?

Coincidentally, that was part of the plot of the 1954 movie "The Long, Long Trailer" with Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball ... but that's a different story!
