The Nevele (eleven spelled backwards) was an iconic Catskills resort that was open for over a hundred years in Ellenville, NY. These chips were given out at a stockholders meeting and the story was that after their casino was opened, it would be cashable for $100. Well, the Nevele did not get a NY license, and closed in 2009.
