Several years ago I purchased all of Bill Akeman's remaining inventory. He had left Las Vegas and was living in Missouri. All of his stuff was still boxed up from his Vegas departure several years earlier. Among the trailer load I bought were the original shipping cartons full of Moulin Rouge dinnerware. Plates, platters and soup bowls from McNicol Pottery Company, dated 2-28-1955. I have only some soup bowls left, which they listed as "soup plates". Thought you might like to see an original label.
