Art Appreciation.......Old Las Vegas style

Wanted to share a couple beauties I just uploaded to chipguide from the Cinnabar, LV (1951-1959) First a large 40 strike cover, a "royal flash billboard match" which features on the front cover a rare interior glimpse of the Cinnabar or in this case "Nevada's finest cocktail lounge", a claim made by many I'm sure!! The interior of the cover features a truly artistic rendering of a gold panner in the desert and is as stated "truly western"!!
Second is another beauty from the Cinnabar. This one is a hard to find salesmen’s "sample flat". You will see it is unfold and there are no staple holes as this was pulled from the production line to be used in sample books produced by matchbook companies that were given to their salesmen to sell their wares. I can see why they pulled this one as it is a superbly done cover and some 65 years later the colors are as vibrant as the day it was printed.
Over and out!
