With some examples a portion of the original engraving can be seen... and on others the "F" (Franc) and original serial number can be found.

Many of the monogrammed chips were also sent to Puerto Rico and Cuba, and some of those that were found years later in Cuba were thought to be from Cuban clubs, not knowing they were just part of an inventory from France that was not resurfaced.
