Today's "Chips of the Day" come from the "MEEKS BAY RESORT" located in Meeks Bay, on the California side of the Lake between Tahoe City and Emerald Bay. These chips were never used in casino play since there is no legal gambling at Lake Tahoe on the California side, only in Nevada. It is my understanding they were used for entertainment purposes at the Resort. Enjoy!
