Today's "Chip of the Day" comes from the "TAHOE PLAZA" which was located on the east side of Highway 50 at the Stateline and on the south shore of the Lake. This location operated as the "TAHOE PLAZA" from 1954 to 1956, then became the "Tahoe Palace" until closing down in 1959. Reopened as the "TAHOE PLAZA" once again later that same year before the property was finally purchased and became part of the Harrah's expansion in the early 1960s. Today's chip was issued in 1959.
