Thanks Torrey grin

Did you see my Fitzgeralds Reno post? It has a picture of our blackjack table, which is our biggest collectible grin . It's something my husband had wanted for a long time. He finally found that table and went to Indianapolis (I think) with a friend, to pick it up. He said that he remembers playing on it at Fitzgeralds...he's sure it's the same one, because of the fabric covering on the rail of the table. The person he bought it from got a bunch of the tables from Fitzgeralds, when they closed. Now we have a family blackjack tournament, every Christmas...and the kids look forward to that, more than the Christmas presents! lol!

I'm trying to think what our most unusual item might be...maybe our Nevada phone books? We have probably 70, or so, Nevada phone books. Some of the early ones (1931-1956) cover virtually the whole state of Nevada...with yellow pages from the Reno area. Some of them are from small towns, and are only about 20 pages each! Some are from Las Vegas and have a LOT of pages. We just got a 1933 phone book today, and all of the clubs are listed as "soft drink parlors" in the yellow pages, because it was during prohibition! It's fun to look at them, and I like the old ads in the yellow pages.
