I had the piece for 30 years and during that time it has been in two different, climate controlled, walk‐in bank vaults along with the bulk of my collection.

About 4 years ago it began to twist and take on an odor and it was in a box with other plaques which are perfectly fine. I removed it and took it home along with placing it in an air comditioned storage room where it remained unchanged in shape but, still has the odor in its PVC-free flip.
