Here's David Spragg's article about the Nevada Mold...seems that it was in use from 1965-1980

Alan Schuyler went through phone books to check business names and addresses...looks like he found Dixie Waffle & Sandwich Shop and Dixie Delicatessen at 24 Fremont Street from 1950-1963.

I found Dixie Waffle & Sandwich Shop in the 1946 phone book, too.

Based on the dates, it sounds unlikely that the chip came from that particular Dixie....if I find any other information, I'll let you know.
