Hi Pam, very few people know the Buckley story as a last ditch effort to save their slot machine company they opened on Fremont Street and in downtown Reno they invested heavily in 10c and 50c machines that they manufactured .... everyone else was using 5c and $.25 machines ... well the public didn’t like the $.10 machines they made very little noise and the 50 Cent machines were too expensive to play .... so all our their machines that they had in their inventory they put in their retail outlets because nobody was buying them and it didn’t work and the Buckley slot machine company and casinos are now history here are some photos and ads...
