~~~ number 1, 01, 001 and 0001 (and lots of 02 and whatever all else they could get their hands on in later years... where, B&G retained 0000 in most cases (or no serial number) and either drilled them or shaved one corner... and, of course; there were many number 1, 2 and 3 pieces that dated back to the early 1900's that simply stayed tucked away only to be found (by casino family members) many years later... while others were simply stumbled upon, however.
