Today's "Chips of the Day" come from "SMITH'S NORTH SHORE CLUB" which was located on Highway 28 in Crystal Bay, on the north shore of the Lake. First opened as "Capy Rix" in 1948, this location became the "North Shore Club" in 1949, operated as "SMITH'S NORTH SHORE CLUB" from 1970 to 1974, then back again to the "North Shore Club" until finally closing down in 1980. Today's chips are considered their 7th issue from 1970. Enjoy!
