Back in the day we didn't always have reservations when we went on vacation. One time, years ago, we arrived in town and headed for LaConcha, where we often stayed back then. They were filled up, so we went next door and registered at the El Morocco. I still remember the red, flocked wallpaper! Anyway...they were serious about the checkout time! The next morning we went out and about for a few hours. We got back to the motel, to pack up and check out...and our key didn't work. The room was locked up tight! We went to the front desk and settled the bill, then they sent a security guard with us so he could let us in the room to get our stuff.
