Today's "Chips of the Day" come from "The Christmas Tree" which was located in the mountains between Reno and Lake Tahoe on the Mt. Rose Highway. Opened in 1947, they closed for gaming in 1978. Today's chips were issued in 1957 for the roulette and 1976 for the $5 & $25. Enjoy!
