Own Some Mucha Artwork Depicting The Parisian "Art Nouveau" period which was known for the
artistic movement that started in Paris around 1890 and lasted until around 1910.

Alphonse Mucha, known internationally, was a Czech painter, illustrator and graphic artist, living
in Paris during the "Art Nouveau" period He is best known for his distinctly stylized and decorative
theatrical posters, particularly those of Sarah Bernhardt.

His ornate patterns and lyrical designs, known now as "Art Nouveau", were, at the time, called the
“Le Style Mucha”. His depictions of languid nymphs, haloed by a kaleidoscope of flowers, are still
instantly recognizable and many are still in use today.
