--- is because of how the inlay is sitting on the base with such a large gap between both. I have never seen this with any of this manufacturer's chips which were always perfect... and I doubt that there would be sloppy work even if it were a sample... Why even present a customer with such poor quality, I would think... I have no idea when or who did this and it is far from anything I have seen on this mold.
I also think the terms we use as sample... especially prototype... may be misleading if not either. We know what manuacturer samples look like (notched).and we also know that this manucacturer had plenty of notched samples. I just think it is fake....and something not from the manufacturer. Just my opinion and I will not pass it on as possibly being a sample.
