I saw an ad on Craigslist over the weekend for some poker chips and it included what is in the pic and another 5 sets mounted in other frames. He advertised it as Faux chips and indeed most are cheap reproduction or Chipco samples and plain poker chips. But closer examination reveals a few really nice chips - I am talking a few Z4 chips! Since he only wanted $60 for all of them I figured what is there to lose? OK he said they were faux chips and the listing was up for 19 days. That should have told me something. When I talked to him I could tell he was an old guy so I figured that he just had some really old chips laying around that he added to all of the cheap chips. When I met him today after driving 45 minutes to get there he showed me the frames and they were SCANS of chips glued to 1/8" thick foam board to give them some depth. The frames were nice enough but who wants scans of chips instead of the real thing? I guess the fun is in the hunt! (But I was really disappointed!)
