Are there really two variations to this ashtray as shown on the Chip Guide? or are these the same with just different lighting?

I scanned this ashtray (1st photo) on my scanner and then used my cell phone (2nd photo) on the same ashtray. Same ashtray, different color results. Just curious, inquiring mind want to know.
