Don't know about the chips.

When Tyson got out of prison and starting fighting again, the MGM made these stands for customers to collect $100 chips from his various fights. Don't know if they were filled with chips and handed out to high-rollers, or if they sold the empty ones in the gift shop. I doubt the gift shop idea - the base had a Tyson plaque on it. I think someone threw out/lost the Tyson base.
