My son visited the UK recently and brought back a few Harley Davidson chips for me. While scanning chips for the Chip Guide I noticed a few strange things in the way the scanner records certain colors. In the attached photo of two chips scanned and photographed side by side you can see a big difference in the way the orange color is captured on the scan. On the single chip the yellow doesn't show up at all on the scan. Is there something strange in the color dyes that causes this? If someone isn't paying attention to what they are scanning, chip colors could be way off in the Guide.
