~~~ I'll just strip down the kitchen tabletop and refinish it a shade darker.. It's been about 14 years since the last time I did it. Started building it in 1982, and took about 4 months to complete. All scrap 1 x 4 solid T&G oak flooring. Ripped the T&G off and used 144 wood screws on to a two layers of 3/4" plywood with a Masonite backing and a lot of carpenter's glue.
