I was talking to a fellow Roulette Collector a couple of days ago and we were discussing Paris Roulette chips.
The Table #1 in both Series of Roulette chips from Paris are hard to find = especially the "Auto-sort" style.
Shown below is the only #1 "Auto-sort" style chip that I have in my Collection or that I have ever seen.
Does anyone have any of these chips ?? I am not sure why they are so scarce - was this a "High Roller" Table or a Table that was in use for only a short period of time.
I picked up the chip shown below at the Convention in 2009 from a person that simply wandered up to my Table and said he had a #1 Paris Roulette chip and if I would be interested in it. I said yes and he said he would bring it in the next day as he had it "locked up" at home. As he walked off - I said to myself he probably won't be back.
Lo and behold the next day I looked up and there he was with the elusive chip. I paid him $15.00 for the chip (which was about 5 or6 times what I would normally pay for a Paris Roulette chip) but I was very glad to get it for my Collection.
Please LMK if you have any info on these chips and if you have any available for sale or trade. I would also be interested in acquiring some of the #1 24 Line Style Paris Roulettes if you have any of them.
I hope Jason Skinner sees this post as I know he is an avid Paris Roulette collector.
Take care,
