So the story is: I friend needed help moving a cabinet from point A to point B. My wife is happy because that means we will stay overnight in the boondocks. Away from home and lock down. Yeaaa. We do the drive and get the cabinet where it needed to be. My job is done. Lunch time. We end up meeting a old friend who lives close by. During lunch she asked what we plan to do. Oh just looking in junk and antique shops for treasures. She asked if we have been to the store down the street, walking distance. Nope did not even know it was there. Went in and oh my think place is full just a thin trail to move around in. All glass cases full and overflowing. I look a bit and see a stack of chips. Scan below. I ask the gal how much and can I actually look at the stack. She says, oh you have to talk to my husband he is the expert. She calls him and he wanders out from the back room. He looks me up and down and says his speal on how great these chips are and all the local history. Un hu I say. He takes the chips back from me and says, I gotta get $50 for the stack. Me, I say $40 sounds better. We settle at $45 cash. He does not like our governor and says cash and no tax for the A Hole up in Sac. (Sacramento). My gut is telling me I did ok.
