He clearly didn't mail the chip until much later than you thought. Glad you got the chip, in any case.

Similarly, I won a chip on ebay right after Thanksgiving. The seller mailed the chip on November 30th. Of course, he mailed it from Canada. So, the estimated delivery was December 15 to January 4th. Quite a range. Canada, now bumping into the holiday mail rush. Anyway, January 4th, still no chip. Seller was very nice. Offered to refund. I really wanted the chip. I gave it a deadline until yesterday before I asked for the refund. Guess what shows up in the mail yesterday, at the buzzer:

Yeah, it's pretty basic, but it's pretty hard to find Haiti casino chips, so I'm pretty excited to get it.
