Was there a "club" (gambling) located in White Horse Street, which would have been located near Piccadilly. The façade would have been brick with wood-framed windows with tall entryway?
Not to be confused with another "club" circa 1967-69, closer to the bottom of the street which later became a casino (Penthouse) in 1969, but on the same side of th street and would have been joined/connected to a nightclub having a huge, archway entrance... and operating in 1969 (and definitely during the summer; June and July)
I ask because there was a recent find indicating gambling took place there.
Also, a search suggests that there may have been confusion regarding exact location since both operations were known as being a "club" though it is certain it was close to Piccadilly.
All I need is a name (with possibly including the word "place").
Not sure how recent the photo is... and I'm only putting bits and pieces together... though it is certain gambling was there in June-July in 1969 (in black and white) with equipment moved to Penthouse later that year, since there also are photos (two known) showing table action and chips).
