Speaking about canceled chips I was very disappointed in my experience with the Auction held two Saturdays ago, not Dougs, being that I signed up to bid on one chip and it went terribly wrong. I can explain further if you e-mail me if anyone cares to hear the story.

Anyway, back to canceled chips that I do have. These are common $5.00 Sahara Chips which I have seen hundreds of these over the years. The Interesting thing is that I never saw any of them canceled. It made sense being there are many old common Sahara Chips out there and presumably none were canceled. Interesting enough I recently acquired two of these that were canceled differently. One chip is clipped on three areas of the edge and the other only on two. Both I have submitted to the chip guide. These are the only two chips I have even seen of this variety canceled. Also, I would be very interested in learning how and what was used to clip cancel the chips. I thought may be a die press, but I doubt that now seeing a chip with only 2 clips. Could it have been a hand canceler ? I doubt it being time consuming and equidistant in nature..... Only the Canceler Knows. Also, why only two show up with the amount of survivors out there ????
