I've stayed here several times including in the early 70s before it was remodeled. Fortunately I've
never had a "haunting" experience. There was a full casino including slots, 21, craps (tub), roulette
and keno. I remember hitting 4 out of 4 on keno one time. I remember asking the owner, Lester
Short, for old chips and he gave me an old yellow $25. He also offered to sell me the hotel for
$400,000! Had lots of good times at the Mizpah.
