I'm as skeptical as anyone else when it comes to hot-stamped chips. I understand the hesitation. That being said, everything about this chip find feels correct to me. There were also some other casino chips from the same time period included with the lot of Moulin Rouge chips that I bought. A few Z chips too. The seller was a Reno-based reseller that was not casino chip savvy. Here are the Moulin Rouge chips that I bought pictured below. The seller said these were all he had and I believe him. You can see that the yellow chip has a little more wear on it and the foil has darkened a little more than the others. The rest are super condition but the edges on some show play. The chip in the airtite is the first ebay chip that I bought. The California Club chip is included in this photo to show it has the same older foil and is from 1951. Now that I'm looking at it again the darker yellow chip may have been stacked next to a red chip for all these years, it looks a little blush and I know red chips can do that. Any opinions on any of this are appreciated. Thanks...
So there were 12 chips that I bought and one that Oscar bought. 13 total in this find. 6 known colors.
