~~~ (not to be confused with inlay) found in Italy by GADOURY about 30 years ago with a "B" in the filigree. A much smaller plaque, though the same color. I had only one example and may have sold it.

I still think there is a lot of Mother-of-Pearl from Italy that we do not know about.

In some of our older club newsletters, a collector who specialized in MOP from Europe; especially on the north coast of Poland (Zopot), told me in a long phone conversation that we had, that him and his son traveled the northern regions of Italy searching for MOP chips and plaques... and this is why I believe exists MOP in Italy..His name was Reynolds.
