Rich, I remember going to Mesquite when the population was around 600, probably in the late 60s.
There was the Western Village that was basically a coffee shop with a bank of slots, the Blue Spot
bar (an old house with a screen porch), George Harmon's Valley Inn, and the Corner Bar that was
right on that 90 degree turn. My favorite place was the Valley Inn with it's Sega machines and a
lone 21 table. Admittedly not much there but a lot of fun.
