The below saga began April 9 when I purchased this Club Fortune LE Fourth of July Patriotic chip, and had to chase it until today to finally get resolution. It is a really nice chip, and being the All-American guy that I am, my wife said in needed it my collection. I don't know the EBAY Seller: vegas_collector, but he was certainly working with me to get me the chip.
Here's a scan of the chip:
And the message I sent to this Las Vegas dealer:
New message to: vegas_collector
Dear Vegas_collector: I am so happy to inform you that the chip was found in the Tyler Regional Sorting Facility, and I had to go pick it up. Only excuse they could give me was that the postal zip code was 75703-XXXX in that it had dripped water on the final four numerals causing a blur making them unreadable. Everything is computerized and the machine drew a blank when it had to determine where the chip was supposed to go. I had some human help from a fellow poker player -- who helped solve the mystery. The chip is beautiful, and now the saga adds to my memories of getting this handsome chip. I will leave very favorable feedback on your EBAY account. It was just a quirk of fate, and lucky I had a friend in the Post Office willing to help me resolve the issue. When I get to Las Vegas in June, I will buy you a drink. See you at the convention. Thanks for the chip.
