~~~ which was probably a 75 mm octagonal with so much edge damage at its points that a lot of.shell was removed in order to save the piece for whatever reason.

We know of several pieces of which I have not seen two being the same exact.reworked finished shape. Otherwise; the cutting and shaping (beveling of the edges) and overall polishing is quite good.

This piece; even with as much shell that has been removed still has areas along the edge where the craftsman had no choice other than to leave as is in order to retain as much of the original size as possible... and well worth the 80€ some of us paid which, if in its original state of being undamaged would have been much, much higher.
