If the KMW entry shows "[CC]" I presume it means the piece seen/explained to them must be the monogram yet, as thorough as Allan was (IS), if that piece was Mother-of-Pearl, he would have mentioned it.

All I know for sure at this point is that the engraver's style (denomination on reverse) is from Spain, and extremely rare; as I show my one piece with that style in Bill Purcell's lead post down the index.
