During that cruise we were at the Captain's Table and he told us when he was in Alaska they used to tell the passengers "do not go outside because you will die..." and Barbara asked "what do you do with the dead bodies?" and the other captain who was blown away by then said "We put them in the food freezer" and there was an exchange of words in Greek between the both of them that didn't go over too well...
