The Special Second-of-the-Month Long Beach Flea Market was not as crowded as two weeks ago, but I managed to find some Treats (and hopefully, no tricks). First item spotted, this neat Penn & Teller Magical piece from the Rio, it will cling vertically to any ferrous substance, even John Benedict's "Otah"!
A few chips - the "April Run" is a non-denominated Gemaco from the Edgewater. Bordertown is an odd plastic "label" pasted over a blank Langworthy. Niagara Falls! "Slowly I turn, step by step, inch by inch . . ."
A bunch of key fobs turned up at one vendor's table, plus a Rainbow Club bottle opener. If only I had a Rainbow Soda* . . . And a Green Lion! Who's going out tonight in a Green Lion costume?
