~~~ on an American piece and never noticed one from Europe or even read about it but, have seen crude (photos) pieces from San Francisco sets in Germany with hardwood cores and rivit, like a domino.

Not sure what the bond is or what the core is and, it has a silver dollar ring to it when dropped on oak and muffled on pine; even yellow.


Not sure how the edge is finished, either... though it is durable to the touch (fingernail).

I know for sure Eisenstadt had a natural with the same exact "Pot" but it was new-like and not used like this.
