The Palace Club was around for a long time as seen in this RPC from the 30s. I remember
visiting in 1966, the year before it closed. Its last owners were Jerry Cook and Riley Lockridge.
Jerry Cook also had the Jet Club which he renamed Jerry's Pastime which later became the
Palace. The Nugget eventually took over most of the block including Frankie's which is now the
Nugget's restrooms.
