I made a trade with a fellow chipper in St. Louis on December 26th and the chips were mailed the next day. It has been over 2 weeks and the package has been handled 10x more than necessary and traveled 3x the distance it should have. The package is out for delivery today. But, now I know exactly why the USPS is in trouble, it is because of their inability to get it right the first time and it costs them much more to deliver a package than it should. The package's trail was: St. Louis to St. Louis to St. Louis to Pittsburgh to Jersey City, NJ to Chicago to Elk Grove, IL to New York, NY, to Garden City, NY, to Rockville Centre, NY and finally, hopefully to my house.
