I remember this place from 1966. By then the live gaming was gone. The statue of the rider
is in front of Harrah's Tahoe as shown on the cover of the book. The route pretty much followed
hwy 50. Indians were a big problem. One of the stations was at Shell Creek. I remember the
bar at Shellbourne.
