Two versions of the parchment paper scroll menus were used back in the day. They are a bit awkward cause all they want to do is roll up when holding them. There was a vertical and horizontal style. The vertical style was the earlier version, the horizontal was the newer version. You can tell by the price increases from one menu to another for the same item. Based on a substantial price increase, for example $ 7.50 for New York sirloin vertical menu and $15.00 on the horizontal , leads me to believe there are others of each style with incremental price incenses.
