Thanks, Michael and Jeff. Your explanations make sense. I thought "Burt" might refer to the Burt Co. but I didn't know why either company would be on a Taylor order card. This is the example that prompted me to ask.

I have two different blue chips which I believe are from this order card: one with a smooth surface, and one slightly darker with hatching on the surface. I think the darker one with hatching may be from the 1950 order because a red one in my collection also has hatching. No other colors ordered in 1950 have been found. Perhaps the smooth surface chip is the Burt chip?
