First up, I was wandering around Ameristar here in Black Hawk and noticed this challenge type coin advertised on one of the videos monitors around the cage and inquired with a cashier about the coin. They were produced as a promotion for Vets, active Military and first responders who were cardholders. I am neither of the three but after a brief explanation about my 25 year compulsion for local casino collectibles, the cashier let me take a peak at one and then handed me the nice little blue velvet bag they came in and said have a nice day, a $10 tip followed. Second, this beautifully enameled $10 Sky Ute loot coin came up on eBay recently and I snatched it up no questions asked! I would imagine that most of these are cashed in by the customer at some point but a few may walk out of the casino, luckily for me this one did! Have a good night CCA friends!
