When I bought the one at the Golden Gate, it was in early October of 2001. With everything being on high-alert, because of 9-11, the cashier warned me that a couple of customers had called to let them know that the keychains had caused them problems at the airport! Taking her advice, when we flew home I put the keychain in the bin with my shoes and keys and computer. I made sure the agent knew it was there before it went through the scanner. She looked at it, took it over to her supervisor, and eventually they decided that I could keep it.
