The Chip Guide is a fantastic data base and Charles you do a great job. It is the cornerstone of the MOGH. That being said we could do so much more with it. I agree that to truly be a Museum of Gaming History we should expand what we put out there. Stories of old timers, nearly forgotten about clubs, casino games that no longer exist like Faro, experiences with now defunct slot machines. We have a wealth of knowledge amongst our clubs and it could be as easy as adding member written essays regarding the different clubs and history of the memorabilia being shown.
As we all know, the actual realization of a brick and mortar museum is a long shot at best, and I say this as a MOGH life member not with frustration but as a realist.
I’d be willing to write and share stories in an expanded VIRTUAL museum.
