Here's the story. This place was opened as a club, or dinner event, where people paid for the casino night which included a set amount of chips. You would play and then could win prizes for the most amount at the end. Or maybe it was trade chips for prizes with values. It was a long time ago, maybe the 70's. Demolished in the 80s.

What happened was, they were running an after hours version and got shut down for illegal gambling.

The actual restaurant and motel was there for years.

Gile's Leilani restaurant in Brookfield outside of Milwaukee. This was the second of two Polynesian themed restaurants less than a mile from each other. Great tiki-lounge place that was demolished in the 80's.

Meanwhile, does this qualify as an Illegal? If a bar has gambling it's an illegal club. If a restaurant that gets raided for illegal gambling has chips for after hours, is it an illegal? ❓
