Under bright light the schreger lines (cross-hatching) can easilly be seen at both ends and side edges and in the carved edges of the tab recess which, that section is fully buffed as well. Most likely cut from the soled end of the tusk or the thick section of the hollow. I had sold the case and chips which were MOP in 9 denominations...
