The postcard shows an early view of the Topaz Lodge, probably about when the ashtray was used.
I stayed in one of those rooms and they were kind of crummy. The sign was used for a long time
and eventually replaced. Pick Hobson enlarged the place and had live gaming. His manager, J.J.
Page, who I worked for at the Overland, eventually took over. I don't who has it now.
