SHO-KA-WAH in Hopland, CA - drove up there only to discover casino is closed. Asked the cashier at Coyote Valley Casino about it. She just smiled and said, "Well, you're always welcome to play here!" (Apparently the Coyote Tribe has no love for the Sho-Ka-Wahhees or whatever they are.)
PASO ROBLES CASINO - thrown out by the owner after I refused to pay double face value for any of his chips. I understand that the casino was later shut down by the state. (The Coyote Tribe is laughing at that, too.)
MIKE'S CARD CLUB in Oakdale - drove for hours to get there, only to find the place vacant and apparently out of business too. ("Uh-huh, uh-huh," says the Coyote Cashier.)
MONO VALLEY CASINO in Auberry - gave up table games years ago.
OCEANVIEW POKER CLUB in Santa Cruz - has chips but won't sell any to collectors. ("Ahhwwooo," says the Coyote Lady.)
And . . . KIBA in Bridgeport - no idea what happened to casino building or chips, although the tribal office found in a trailer up there.
The Coyote lifts his leg on all of these failed gambling spots!
