I was at a presentation last week in Saratoga about the period from Prohibition and Kefauver hearings. It was very interesting. It was for the roll out of a new book by an ex police chief. I intend to be in contact with him after the holidays. I also met the author of the article from Saratoga Living that you referred to. She has written several articles on organized crime in Saratoga. Arnold Rothstein is responsible for the way casinos are today, dinning, entertainment and gambling. Prior to the Brook Club they were for gambling only with a cover to avoid detection. Hopefully I'll have an article put together for the next issue.
